We are certified & designated appraisers headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana. We are available to provide fair value measurements (in accordance with SFAS 157 guidelines) of hard tangible assets for financial reporting matters.
These assignments involve situations such as business combinations & purchase price allocations (SFAS 141 & 141R matters), as well as accounting for the impairment or disposal of long-lived assets (SFAS 144 matters).
We can work directly with management of a particular entity which requires our services, or in concert on a valuation and/or audit team.
We are capable of undertaking valuation for financial reporting assignments involving machinery & equipment and business personal property through-out the United States. To date, our appraisers have handle assignments involving machinery & equipment and/or business personal property in nearly 50% of the states within the U.S.
We are capable of undertaking valuation for financial reporting assignments involving real property in twenty-one (21) states. These jurisdictions include our home state (Indiana), as well as the states that have either "voluntary" or "mandatory federally related transaction" licensing status noted on the Appraisal Subcommittee's website (www.asc.gov). At present, these jurisdictions include Alaska, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Massachusetts, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Wyoming, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Georgia, Hawaii, Kansas, Maryland, Montana, New Hampshire, New York, Ohio, Vermont & Wisconsin.
In relation to valuation for financial reporting assignments that may involve real property within the balance of the U.S. (29 states), we refer clients to a qualified real property appraiser who is licensed within the particular jurisdiction. These jurisdictions include the states that have "mandatory" licensing states noted on the Appraisal Subcommittee's website (www.asc.gov). At present, these jurisdictions include
